The History of Tuttle Christian Church

Tuttle Christian Church has been in existence for over 100 years which was celebrated in September 2006. The church began meeting in a school, then moved to other locations until 1906 when R. E. Rosentine, an evangelist, held a meeting in a tent in Tuttle, and under his leadership the church was organized and began to grow.

In 1907 the first church building was built, but was badly damaged by a windstorm the following year. The church was reconstructed and services presumed.

Tuttle Christian Church has since had a number of preachers who helped grow the church spiritually and numerically. Due to this, the church has had to add on to accommodate its growing congregation and is in the process of deciding what steps need to be taken to meet the needs of future growth.

Currently the church is running close to 200 in number and is anticipating greater numbers in the near future. TCC offers "a place for you" to learn, grow, and get involved. TCC offers two Sunday morning services, Sunday School classes, Small Groups and Wednesday evening programming, not to mention several ministries and activities throughout the year.

Tuttle Christian Church is great for young and old alike. Our prayer is that you will come and be a part of history as TCC continues to minister to our community.
